How does the free trial work?

You can now try SkillsTown free for 14 days. Your membership will automatically continue as long as you choose to remain a member. You can cancel at any time before the end of your trial period, and no charges will apply. There is no complicated contract, no cancellation fee, and no long-term commitment. You can cancel online at any time, 24 hours a day.

How can I cancel my subscription?

When purchasing a subscription, you created a personal account in our webshop. Through your personal profile, you can cancel your purchased subscription. To do so, go to your profile and select “Subscriptions.” Here you will see your active memberships and can cancel them.

If you cancel your subscription, it will end on the last day before the next renewal date. Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled on a monthly basis immediately. Annual subscriptions can be cancelled monthly after the first year. You can manage this via your webshop account. Once your membership has expired, you will no longer have access to the online training programmes.

How do I request a subscription?

If you would like to access our broad range of online training programmes, you can request a subscription via our webshop. During the application process, a €0.01 verification transaction will take place to securely register your bank account details with SkillsTown. You can then enjoy 14 days of free learning.

Good to know: after these 14 days, the subscription will automatically renew on a monthly basis at €14.95 per month. You can cancel your subscription at any time via the SkillsTown website.

How much does a subscription cost?

You can already access SkillsTown’s training programmes for €14.95 per month (including VAT). You can also choose an annual subscription, costing €149.50 per year (including VAT).

How does SkillsTown make learning accessible and engaging?

Can we add our own company-specific training programmes?

Yes, with SkillsTown’s authoring tool Create, you can easily develop your own training programmes and onboarding journeys that fully align with your organisational culture and strategic objectives.

Are SkillsTown’s training programs certified or officially recognized?

Yes. Many of SkillsTown’s training programs align with specific industries and compliance requirements. Upon completion, participants receive a certificate of participation. For certain sectors, additional industry-specific training programs are available.

How does HR maintain insight into compliance with mandatory training programs?

Through the compliance dashboard, you gain real-time insight into completed training programs, certifications, and outstanding action items.

How does SkillsTown ensure that employees are always up to date?

Through automatic updates and mandatory compliance training, employees receive the latest knowledge in a timely manner.

What does GetSkilled Manager deliver for the organisation?

The programme strengthens leadership, fosters collaboration, and delivers immediate impact as participants work on current organisational challenges. In this way, the entire organisation benefits from the learning outcomes.

What are open badges and how are they used?

Open badges are digital credentials that recognise learning achievements or skills and are internationally recognised. After completing a module or training, participants receive a badge that they can add to, for example, their LinkedIn profile.

What kind of programme is the cMBE?

The Corporate Business Management Education (cMBE) is a unique blended programme at bachelor’s level, based on MBA topics but with a strong practical focus. Upon completing the various components of the cMBE, participants receive so-called “open badges.”

Who is GetSkilled Manager suitable for?

GetSkilled Manager is designed for (aspiring) managers, team leaders, and high potentials within organisations that want to invest in leadership, strategic insight, and change capability. The programme is suitable for any industry.

Can the cMBE be integrated into an existing online learning environment?

SkillsTown offers various options to integrate the cMBE programme into another platform. If desired, we will work together to determine the most effective way to set up the integration. Our team of experts will always ensure a suitable solution.

What level of time investment should our organization anticipate for the cMBE?

The training consists of 8 modules, each of which in principle lasts one month. You determine the pace at which your employees complete the training.

For each group starting the cMBE program, a “moderator” is appointed. This person guides the group through the entire program. As an organization, you can choose to appoint someone from within your own organization for this role, or you can opt for support from SkillsTown.

Depending on this choice, an additional time investment from the organization may be required.

Can I also follow the cMBE program individually?

The Corporate MBE program is specifically designed for organizations, but an individual version is also available at SkillsTown. This is called the ‘iMBE’ program. Are you interested in following this program individually? Please contact us to discuss the possibilities.

What are Open Badges?

Our cMBE training program uses a modern form of accreditation: Open Badges.

An open badge is a visual, digital, and verified proof of a skill or competency that your employee has acquired. These open badges are universally recognized, fully transferable, and can be added to a LinkedIn profile. Leading organizations such as IBM and Google already use this modern form of accreditation.

To avoid misunderstandings: accreditation with Open Badges is not comparable to an NVAO accreditation linked to an official Master’s degree. With our cMBE program, we offer a management program with a distinct identity of its own.

Is the Corporate MBE program also available in Dutch?

Our cMBE program is available in both English and Dutch. The program consists of eight modules based on the latest trends in the business world.
