Further Comments
We anonymize the personal data we use for analyses. You are therefore unrecognizable in our analyses.
Sharing with third parties
We may make your personal data available to our accrediting organizations. In connection with obtaining and maintaining accreditation for a training course, we are sometimes required by law or contract to provide the committees responsible for the accreditation or seal of approval with access to personal data. We keep this to a minimum.
In some cases, we cooperate with external service providers, such as teachers and examination agencies. They may only use your data for the performance of services that are in the interest of your training. They may not contact you for other purposes or pass on your data to other parties.
We also sometimes cooperate with external parties who process your data independently. Your data is then processed according to the privacy statement of these parties. This is the case, for example, with external examination or certification, and also with some accreditation organizations. We always inform you when this is the case.
With your permission, we may share your information with third parties for commercial purposes. We do this, among other things, to provide you with more appropriate advertisements and to make you applicable offers on our websites and those of third parties. We will or have made appropriate agreements with these parties so that they protect your data properly. You can usually find these parties in the cookie overview.
We may be legally required by government agencies or other parties to share your data. We then share only the strictly necessary data.
Finally, we may have made arrangements with your employer to share certain study results. In this case, it depends on what kind of agreements we have made with your employer to share your results. This may be because we are a processor for your employer, your employer has a legitimate interest in seeing some of your data, because this has been agreed between you and your employer in, for example, a study agreement or your employment contract, or because you give permission. We will always inform you when we will pass on results to your employer.
The use of cookies
SkillsTown B.V. uses cookies and similar techniques on this website. On our cookie declaration page you will find an overview of the cookies used on this website and what they are used for.
Newsletters, notices and our subscriber base
With our newsletter we inform interested parties by mail about news in the field of our services and everything related to them. We add your e-mail address to our list of subscribers only if you give your consent. Each newsletter contains a link that allows you to unsubscribe and/or change your preferences. We may supplement the profile we have built up of you through the use of cookies with the e-mail address you enter here. We can also track the effectiveness of our newsletter by tracking open and click behavior.
Phone number and email address
If you leave your phone number or email address via a form field with us, we can contact you about the interests we have set up for the particular form. We may also enrich the personal profile we have built up of you by means of cookies with these contact details. We may measure open and click behavior of the emails we have sent to you. We may, for our legitimate interests, legal obligations, and to reach an agreement, use this data to get in touch with you. If you give us your consent, we may also use this data to send you commercial communications or to fulfill other commercial interests as described below.
Online training data
If you have previously followed a training course with us, we combine your behavioral data on the website with the training courses you have previously followed. This enables us, for example, to ensure that we do not offer you the same training course again, but rather a training course that is more in line with a training course you have previously followed. We do this on the basis of 'legitimate interest'.
Commercial consent/consent
We only apply commercial consent, or permission for the commercial use of your data, if you have actively given your consent to this by means of a check mark at the bottom of the forms. If you have shared data with us before the introduction of, for example, the AVG or the amended Telecommunications Act, we will treat it as under the then applicable legal framework. With commercial consent you give us permission to combine, enrich, use and share your data with third parties, which may or may not be part of our group.
Under this we include various types of permissions, such as the commercial messaging described earlier. Furthermore, by commercial communication we mean following up with interested parties regarding our services and everything related to them. For this purpose we use your e-mail address and your profile previously built up through cookies. We may use third parties to perform services for commercial purposes. In doing so, we take into account your preferences and privacy laws. If you are known to these companies and your advertising settings on their platforms allow it, we may show you targeted ads through their channels.
This also allows us, or third parties engaged by us, to contact you for reviews or to ask you to provide feedback for quality research beyond the surveys we conduct based on our legitimate interests and legal obligations. For this purpose, we will link your email address to the data already known to us.
Enhanced Conversions measurement
With your permission, we share your email address with Google. We do this by first anonymizing your email address using a hash and only then sending it to Google. This ensures your privacy and prevents Google from seeing your email address. This hash is then compared with the hashes of logged-in Google accounts. This way we can improve the accuracy of conversion measurements.

In the interest of improving our services, we may keep your data longer, but in that case we will always anonymize the data.
reCAPTCHA
Google Inc.'s reCAPTCHA service is used by us for correctly separating and noticing a real website visitor and a spambot. For it to work smoothly, a website visitor's IP address, mouse movements, type patterns and possibly other data is collected. This data is eventually sent to Google for further analysis.
