Online learning for employees? Embuild takes the first step!

As an employer in Belgium, you are obliged to provide training opportunities for your employees. Online learning is still quite a new concept in Belgium. Despite the many advantages, few organizations are still using it. Still, Embuild is making the move. Lisa explains why: "At Embuild, we used to teach mostly physical classes. Although some prefer this option, you also need to support the part of your employees who need other learning opportunities. In addition to online training through Teams, we now offer online training through our own online learning platform."

Jody says, "The online learning platform gives a new group of people the opportunity to learn. It's a nice advantage when you can offer so many courses for free. Experiences with the online learning platform

"We get positive feedback from employees," says Jody. "Physical classes, of course, are place- and time-dependent and the subject matter is fixed. Now they get the chance to take their own training that they haven't been able to take before. They choose a training they find interesting and can take it at their own time and pace." Lisa enthusiastically adds: "I finally took a training course in programming myself on the online learning platform. It's easy and fast. You don't have to free up half a day for it, like with physical classes, but you can schedule your own ten minutes daily, for example."
