Brunel invests in its employees with the Brunel Academy

Brunel wants to be a good and cool employer that invests in its people. Patrick Kostwinder, Lead Global Digital Learning, therefore launched the Brunel Academy with his team last year.
The Netherlands leads the way when it comes to innovation and technology, and this is also visible within Brunel. Brunel is an intermediary for specialists and offers a lot of training. That has always been the case. But it is clear that the technology in this is constantly changing and developing. At the same time, they see that the demand from employees is broadening. They want to develop not only in their own field, often as specialists and/or managers, but also on a personal level.
"From that existing learning demand, we approached SkillsTown. They offer a particularly broad learning offering, in various learning formats. This allows us, for the first time, to reach all our people in the Netherlands with one complete digital package. I am also very excited about the ability to constantly move with the changing learning needs of our employees."
"I am very excited about the opportunity to constantly move with the changing learning needs of our employees."
"The world is changing and our people are changing with it. In that, we have to take good care of their development. That is really an anchor for Brunel; after all, a specialist is only as good as his/her knowledge and skills."
"The learning offering we offer with this also ties in nicely with various initiatives within Brunel, such as Health, in which we work strongly on prevention. I'm thinking of working stress-free, or finding the balance between work and private life, which is of course extremely topical. But also the topics of safe data use and LEAN working, or honing Office use and communication skills."
"My dot on the horizon is that the Brunel Academy is expanded to the point where we can offer everyone that which fits the learning needs of want and need."
"The world is changing and our people are changing with it. In that, we have to take good care of their development."
"The Academy offers another nice bonus: in recent months I have been hidden behind my screen a lot, but because it allows me to constantly measure the learning demand and which modules are used the most, a dialogue is still forming with people. And so we come back to the beginning: Brunel wants to be a listening employer that sees the generic needs of its employees and meets them. An employer where you don't just bring something, but where there really is something to gain."
