50+ workers should also be rewarded!

This Wednesday, October 7, 2020 is the day: the first Experience Award will be presented in an online event hosted at SkillsTown. With this award, initiator Prekash Ramsingh wants to reward over-50s for their experience and expertise. During the award ceremony, speakers Wies Verbeek, Prekash Ramsingh, Cees Verbree, Jennifer Delano and Hans Schuurmans and experts Thomas de Zeeuw and Prof. Kasper Boon will discuss the value of the over-50s for the community on the basis of stimulating propositions.

The nominees

During the event at SkillsTown in Eindhoven, it will be announced whether Karel van Berk, Marjo Dekker or Ria Deurloo will go home with the award. These are the three first over-50s nominated for the award. They were chosen by the jury and 2,600 votes as finalists from a group of 24 contenders. The nominees were judged on innovation, productivity, flexibility, inspiration and work ethic.

About the jury

The jury consists of entrepreneur Cees Verbree, Prof. Dr. Tinka van Vuuren, Prof. Dr. Beatrice van der Heijden, Jamila Edinni, director HRM of ROC Zadkine and Camiel Jansen of the Ministry of SZW. Based on an objective weighting system, the jury selected the top 3. This took into account both the public's vote and the jury's opinion.
