Connect by Talent and SkillsTown join forces

Since October last year, Dutch online training provider SkillsTown no longer focuses only on the Dutch market. Under the leadership of Bart Hogendoorn, former Managing Director at HP and Sap, among others, SkillsTown already expanded to South Africa, the Caribbean and Suriname. For the latter country, a collaboration with local training provider Connect by Talent was officially launched this month.

In partnership with Connect by Talent the online learning platform for both companies and individuals in Suriname is being launched. Connect by Talent specializes in connecting the right people to the right workplace. One way they do this is by using new technologies. Prekash Ramsingh, Managing Director of Connect by Talent says enthusiastically: "Learning should be fun and through the cooperation with SkillsTown, learning will not only be fun but also effective and accessible for everyone. This allows the working Surinamese to use the training offerings independent of time and place."

Activities in Suriname

SkillsTown and Connect by Talent will launch their online learning platform from December immediately including more than 500 online courses. Content will be added monthly. Think of training in digital skills, dealing with stress, time management, skills to present yourself and many more soft- and hardskills. In Suriname, the need for training in practical skills is enormous and therefore Connect by Talent and SkillsTown are responding to this with their offer.
